Well, ladies and gentlemen, here we are again.

So, as we all probably know, a mass shooting happened on 24/05/2022 at Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.

Before I go any further, I would want to express my heartfelt condolences to the victims and their families affected by the inhumane and horrific massacre.

I never want to watch someone go through something like that, and, sadly, you can’t go somewhere without fearing that someone will walk in with a loaded firearm and start shooting up the place.

Personally I don’t have children, I’m still furious over what happened! My heart wrenched, my heart skipped beats, and my blood boiled as soon as I heard the dreadful news. One can only image what those adorable little children’s parents are going through. It’s painful to see these photographs of those sweet little children whose innocent lives were robbed from them by a vicious monster (YES, THAT’S WHAT HE WAS!). It is nothing short of heartbreaking.

No matter how you look at it, school shootings are on the rise — and they paint a very scary picture of our society as a whole. America is a country that is unique in its school shooting issue. This is the only country where school shootings have been normalized. Rather than attack the causes, our school administrators preferred just to have shooting drills.

Supporters of the measure argue that allowing students to carry firearms on campus will save lives in the case of a school shooting. To emphasize their argument, they staged a simulated mass shooting on the UT Austin campus. “Our goal is to instill the importance of everyone to be able to defend themselves in any way they choose,” said the gun rights group that organized the demonstration, in a statement that referred to gun-free campuses as “victim disarmament zones.”

However, we are currently experiencing yet another national nightmare. As they say, it’s the “deadliest in state history.” There’s no doubting that such blazing headlines used to set off warning bells, necessitating a full investigation into how we arrived to this point.

The headlines have now become manna for interested readers lured to the theatrics of what has become an all-too-common occurrence. The crowd on social media platforms compiles the information into never-ending threads. This all came together to produce a patchwork of engagement that will continue to expand as long as we are Americans in America.

The fact that such a heinous and sacrilegious conduct could take place in a country that sends forth soldiers to defend our honor. This is because they can’t protect us from the gun conflict at home. The practice of safeguarding investments at the expense of law-abiding citizens will continue.

The nation’s leaders will remain divided because one side is too powerless to fight for our survival, while the other is much too greedy to realize how heinous it is to regularly clear war zones in schools of piled-up bodies, many of whom are children of tomorrow.

Because it would cause the wealthy to panic, America’s gun restrictions will never alter. The system was set up to make us all expendable to benefit those who can afford to live in a world where six-year-old children are being massacred.

The bodies are piling up accordingly as bank accounts and political careers continue to flourish under the premise of targeted shootouts and the psychologically ill individuals that all have one thing in common.

To die for your country is a valiant purpose, but what is the definition for the ones who perished with no medals or honor — just the addition to a soberly growing list — and the forgettable mentions that last for a minute?

We need to stop blaming psychiatric disorders and recognize that what drives shooters to kill is something deeper and worse. It’s the evident disregard that has erupted into a full-fledged riot.

The truth is that without a background check, a person cannot buy some prescription drugs, drive a semi-automated tractor, buy an automobile, adopt certain pets, buy a vehicle, or buy certain other products. Despite this, they can lawfully acquire firearms in a number of states, including Texas.

If you focus on the problem’s symptoms, you’ll miss the point and end up with blood on your hands.

This argument has a fundamental flaw that so many people wish to make.

It makes no difference if we can show that every single individual who has murdered someone else with a gun comes from a damaged family, suffers from mental illness, or fits into any other group.

I can understand why this would be a tempting item to invest in. Because they are stating the truth, right up until the final two words, from a logical standpoint of wanting to improve things.

Yes, fellow Americans — GUNS ARE THE PROBLEM HERE.

This is an excellent list if you want to discover why guns have become a problem. Yes, all of these are issues that must be addressed. I do not state this carelessly. If, on the other hand, there is just one assault weapon, and people are casually slain with it. Yes, firearms are an issue.

Violence will never go away. Violence is a sad, but unavoidable reality due to people’s free will and the fact that not all individuals will ever share the same moral compass. We can, should, and must do everything we can to reduce all forms of violence. Improve people’s lives by teaching them how to be better. Encourage the importance of family values. Education. The list could go on and on.

But we will never eliminate violence.

Read that again.

And, knowing that violence will occur, we cannot give individuals assault guns and then be astonished when thousands of people die each year as a result of those bullets.

The blood of those who support the availability of these assault weapons is on the hands of those who willfully refuse to make any adjustments to gun restrictions.
